The ´Global map of Accessibility´ shows a clear structure which places on earth the best and fastest accessible are: there where you also can find the highest concentration of cities, urban areas and people. At the same time the map confirms also that the most wild and desolated places are dark on the map. Copyright © European Communities, 2008; Hirotsugu Uchida and Andrew Nelson, 2007 / 2008.

A wonderfull and clear map that shows that good accessibility is direct connected with urbanization. For more maps see page maps.

wonderfull maps: Nolli

Posted in maps by cityeu on November 3, 2010

The map of Nolli representing the old Rome during the Roma Empire shows the public accessible space in the city, public space and public buildings. The use is here leading in the graphic, not the physical structure of the build area.
